Culture in the Dome

The Dome receives its visitors with light and space. The vast rotunda is topped by the fourth largest dome in Europe after the Panthéon, St. Peter's Basilica and the Cathedral of Florence, creating a perfect harmony of space. The huge dimensions of the space, its simplicity and clarity, allow the visitor to open himself. Now he has the possibility of entering from the optical stress and acoustic noise of everyday life into a room where there is silence. In this way real seeing and hearing become possible-seeing and hearing of the heart.

The cultural events in the Dome invite visitors from near and far to make their own, new perceptions.

Concerts speak in the language of music, exhibitions make us see things with different eyes, other events, such as a "Night of Silence" develop our beliefs in new ways.

In this sense, these events want to help find ways to a deeper faith, which emerged from one’s own experiences and to explore the traces of the unimaginable God in this world- to discover and re-discover that "I am".
